It was way back in January 2006, NECS was founded as a specialist commercial cleaning provider by Gary Breach (Managing Director).
NECS initially started trading as North East Cleaning Services in January 2006, with a scope that encompassed the North East of England. It was also at this time that we got our very first cleaning contract signed by our first client, and from this moment onward the foundation of what would soon become NECS was being built.
This time marked the transformation stage for NECS, and after seeing our business thrive over just its first few months, what was then North East Cleaning Services became North East Cleaning Services Ltd.
As our company developed further and further, we made to move to a limited company, which also helped to grow our reputation as a reliable business provider to larger businesses and organisations.
After two years of stellar effort in true NECS form, we continued to expand into Yorkshire and with this expansion called for the opening of our newest office at the time in Leeds. With plans to continue to grow bigger and expand our reach over the UK, we decided to change our name to what is it today, NECS (UK) Ltd.
After another successful two years, we expanded our reach again and opened our North West, office in Manchester on the 5th August 2010. With the intention to continue to broaden our range and provide our professional comm ercial cleaning and facilities management services to a whole new range of clients. Resulting in the formation of NECS (North West) Ltd.
2013 saw the setup of our West Midlands office in Birmingham, leading to the formation of NECS (WestMidlands) Ltd. Stationed with only the best cleaners and high-quality products, our Birmingham office was well equipped from day one to provide our West Midlands clients with nothing but the finest cleaning solutions to meet their needs.
We worked incredibly hard over the last few years and were so happy to have achieved the ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations.
In 2015 you guessed it, we opened our Scotland office on the outskirts of Edinburgh, giving us the opportunity to reach clients even further from where we started and also build the formation of NECS (Scot) Ltd.
NECS moved into our new head office location in Cramlington near Newcastle.
3 years after receiving our first accreditations we where reaccredited to all 3 standards with transition to the new ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015.
Our latest venture saw us bridge the gap between ourselves and the south, with the opening of our London office enabling us to provide national coverage and help us provide our services across the whole country.
