Safer Factory Workspace for Warwick Equest
Running an efficient factory requires regular, thorough cleaning. But what happens to all those high-up, out of reach places? Warwick Equest needed a team of fully-trained and competent operatives to remove the build-up of dust on the highest lights and beams. Not only is this build-up unsightly, but it can interrupt production and contaminate products when it eventually falls down.
NECS UK has been contracted for specialist cleaning (up to 10 foot in height) in Warwick Equest’s factory for the last three years. During that time we’ve built up a solid and mutually respectful working relationship. So it was only natural that they came to us when they needed this really deep clean.
They also knew from experience that we could complete the work quickly, to a high standard and for a good price. Our brief was to conduct a full clean of the whole factory walls and roof structure, covering some 8,000sq feet, and reaching a height of around 40ft. Not for the faint-hearted.
We decided to wait for the week before Christmas to take advantage of some shut-down days and to minimise disruption to the factory working routine. This meant coordinating with their staff to open and close the facility to give us the access we needed, but it all went like clockwork. The kind of efficiency you’d only expect from a production line.
